Birthed in 2005 by filmmakers Justin Freet, William Russell and Dylan Noebels, RAWSTOCK’s initial mission was showcasing local filmmakers, growing to premier international films that otherwise would have been unavailable to Seattle’s moviegoing public.
The RAWSTOCKMafia (those that produce and curate RAWSTOCK and it various unfortunate side-effects) has grown to include SonicsGate director Jason Reid, unsurpassed editor Darren Lund, consigliere John Hilldenbiddle, prodigal son Darrius Schieder, and tastemaker Bianca Abate.
